The menu at 1130 Francis St

All-breed grooming at the Francis Street studio, priced by the pound.

We do everything from the simple bath and blow dry all the way to the most intricate of haircuts.

Three appointments cover the studio floor, and your dog's coat decides which one fits. Most dogs come back every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on breed, hair type and length. The prices further down are the studio's own starting prices, read off the menu at the front desk.

Full Groom

A bubble bath and hand dry with spray conditioner, 10 to 15 minutes of brushing, then an all-over body haircut in the length you choose. Nails are trimmed and filed and ears are cleaned. It is the appointment for doodles, poodles and anything with a coat that grows.

Bath Plus+

For big or small hairy double-coated dogs, or a touch-up between grooms. The bath comes with 10 to 15 minutes of brushing, nails, ears, natural paw and pad trimming, sanitary areas and a face and natural ear trim. Feather trimming on double-coated dogs may cost extra, and the Shed Control add-on is worth a look for those breeds.

Full-Service Bath

Best for short-haired breeds: a bubble bath and hand dry, spray conditioner, a lite brushing, nail trim and file, ear cleaning and paw pad trimming. Short coats still shed and still grow nails, so a regular bath keeps both in check between visits.

Questions the front desk hears most.

Every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on breed, hair type and length. Dogs that go more than 8 weeks between grooms carry an extra charge, because the coat takes longer to work through.

A Full-Service Bath is a bubble bath and hand dry, spray conditioner, lite brushing, nails, ears and paw pads, and suits short-haired breeds. Bath Plus+ adds 10 to 15 minutes of brushing plus feet, pad hair, sanitary areas and a face and natural ear trim, for hairy or double-coated dogs. A Full Groom adds an all-over body haircut in the length you choose.

Allow up to 4 hours. Studio appointments start as early as 7:15 am, and the last pick-up is 5:30 pm. If you need your dog with one groomer start to finish, ask for an EXPRESS groom ($25), which must be arranged ahead.

Quick Services such as nails, face, feet and sanitary trims are welcome 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with no bath included.

Dogs up to about 65 lbs on a regular grooming schedule, at a home with level parking. The van works one dog with one groomer, which suits reactive and anxious dogs. Longmont, Mead, Berthoud, parts of north and east Boulder, Firestone and Frederick are covered from Longmont, and a Loveland van covers north Loveland and parts of the I-25 corridor.

Dogs over 110 lbs are charged by the hour. Call the front desk at 303-776-0332 and we will talk it through with you.

Still unsure which appointment fits? Tell us the breed and weight on the contact page and the front desk will point you to one.
